| FROM THE CHATELAIN The Chatelain (sometimes called Hospitalier) assists newcomers with their entry into the SCA, or the Current Middle Ages as we like to call it. I can introduce you to other people within the Bog and the kingdom, explain our customs and terms, assist you with garb (loaner garb, sewing recommendations, merchants who sell it), assist you with equipment (such as feast gear and lists of needed items for events), and be a guiding presence for you as you get started. I’m the Welcome Wagon! Please ask me anything. If I don’t know, I’ll point you to the person who does know.
